Good News from Riccardo Maggiore Salons

To all our beautiful clients,

We are so relieved to finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  We are excited to announce that we are preparing to re-open during the last week of June or the first week of July. While government mandates and ever-changing information currently prevent us from having an exact date set in stone, we are taking all the steps to ensure that we can welcome guests back safely as soon as possible. While we take this time to solidify our preventative measures and thoroughly clean our salons, you can ease your hair-anxiety by joining our waitlist to ensure priority for an appointment.

For the past months, we have been researching and working with information from the CDC, Governor's office, NYC, OSHA, PBA, Behind the Chair, and ISBN to develop a plan that will work for us, our staff, and of course, our clients. Here are the safety guidelines we have in place as of now:

• We will have a limited number of people in the salon at a time and we will be working at 50% capacity.

• Only clients with appointments can enter the salon.  For everyone’s safety, no friends, family, or pets will be allowed at this time.  

• Our staff will be working in shifts.

• We will have longer hours and will open 7 days a week to accommodate our guests with these new requirements.

• We will be placing sneeze guards at the front desk.

• There will be hand washing and or hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the salon.  

• The salon will be cleaned and sanitized more frequently especially the high touch areas.

• There will be sneeze guards at the front desk.

• All employees and guests must wear face coverings. 

• We will be social distancing. You will notice markers and signs throughout that will help keep everyone aware of new policies.  

• Our open stations will be socially distanced from one another.

• The coat check and waiting room will be temporarily closed.

• Coffee and beverage service will be temporarily discontinued. 

We feel truly grateful that we have been able to keep in touch with our lovely clients via social media and our website during these trying times. We thank you immensely for your patience and graciousness as we’ve worked through uncharted territory. We can’t wait to see you all soon.
